Client Services Representative
In this position you will provide customer service to our clients, front and back end project management, generate quotations for analytical services, interact with the Sales & Marketing staff and assist with entering of bottle orders and or courier requests. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Requirements:
Qualification include a BA or BS degree in Chemistry or Biology highly desired or Science related discipline. A minimum of 0-2 years in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry required. Knowledge of cGMPs and related compliance regulations and guidances a plus.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review of all incoming Chain Of Custody documents for accounts assigned, and logging of jobs into LIMS database.
  • Set up and maintaining of project details in LIMS database and workflows.
  • Review quotations.
  • Provide support to Project Managers and Stability and Sample Management Log In team members.
  • Professional phone demeanor and excellent communications skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Flexible schedule.

Minimum Skills Requirements:

  • Strong competencies in planning, project management, and organization with the ability to lead multiple activities while maintaining a focus on quality.

Lab Technician – Chemistry
The Lab Technician will perform routine laboratory tasks and assist laboratory personnel according to FDA, cGMP and Boston Analytical’s Standard Operating Procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cleans and maintains laboratory glassware, equipment, supplies and laboratory.
  • Monitors and maintains water system.
  • Properly handles, stores and disposes of hazardous materials.
  • Prepares samples for testing.
  • Will be trained on basic chemistry tests.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations.
  • Follows all cGMP rules and regulations.
  • Documents results of tests and analyses.
  • Ensures all work performed strictly adheres to cGMP, Company, client and Pharmacopeial methodologies.
  • Assists Chemists and other company personnel on an as needed basis.
  • Assist in proper management of hazardous waste and compliance with DES hazardous waste rules.
  • Handling hazardous waste by segregating organic waste from aqueous waste and consolidating waste as directed.

Requirements:

A minimum of an AS degree in a scientific discipline is required. A Laboratory Technician should be willing to attend technical training classes to enhance skills or correct identified deficiencies. Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. 8-hour HAZWOPER training is a plus. There is no minimal related work experience required.

Minimum Skills Requirements:

  • Must have good organizational and verbal communication skills.

System Administrator
In this position you plan and coordinate the ongoing support and maintenance of Boston Analytical’s network infrastructure. Demonstrates strong subject matter knowledge pertaining to both IT capabilities and functional business processes, with particular strength in respect client relations. In this role you are responsible for understanding overall goals and objectives of the business and assisting in the identification and delivery of technical and business process solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide first level and-user technical support including desktop and phones.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal employees.
  • Troubleshoot problems with network connectivity, web access and basic network connectivity and google access.
  • Resolve issues using appropriate troubleshooting and helpdesk ticketing.
  • Diagnose and resolve client side hardware problems or failures?
  • Oversee provision accounts for new users/terminated users as well as password administration.
  • Enforce company IT standards and IT policies.
  • Identify security risk to the environment from a client-side standpoint.
  • Manage and troubleshoot video conferencing systems.
  • Maintain software and hardware inventory.
  • Create and maintain IT related documents, procedures, and SOP’s.
  • Maintain and monitor IP Phone systems.
  • Provide advanced support for business applications including LIMS v6, Atlas 8.2, and Empower3.

Requirements:

Qualification include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with a minimum of 2+ years of relatable experience working with computers.

LIMS Support Specialist
The IT LIMS Support Specialist will be trained to build, update, and test new product builds for the Boston Analytical Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). In addition, this individual will be trained to create ELNs (Electronic Lab Notebooks), and will be responsible for investigating and responding to IT requests related to assisting end users with LIMS application issues. Furthermore, the candidate will be tasked with special LIMS projects and general enhancement of the LIMS.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced support for business applications including LIMS v6, Atlas 8.2, and Empower3.
  • Identify security risk to the environment from a client-side standpoint.

Requirements & Qualifications

Qualification include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Chemistry or related Science with a minimum of 1-3 years of relatable experience working with computers or in a pharmaceutical or similar lab environment. Knowledge of programming and application development, and direct experience in LabWare LIMS would be considered a huge plus. The successful candidate will be motivated to develop an in-depth knowledge of the BA LIMS application at all levels.
